Apprenticeships have long been a cornerstone of NG Refrigeration’s workforce development, with half of our management team having begun their careers as apprentices. Each year, we welcome new apprentices from across the UK, who engage
in a blend of academic study and hands-on experience under the guidance of our engineering teams. These apprenticeship programs typically span 3 to 4 years, and upon successful completion, apprentices are offered permanent positions
as Refrigeration Engineers. Additionally, there are ample opportunities for career advancement through the company, as well as pathways for development into various other areas of the business.

Earn, Work & Learn

Your starting salary with us is £15,800. You will receive an increase to £18,500 within your first year. In your second year, your earnings will rise to £21,000, and by the end of that year, you will be earning £22,900. As you begin
your third year, your salary will increase to £27,500, culminating in a final salary of £30,330.

Service, maintenance and installation of refrigeration systems and components (Including coldrooms)

Health & Safety and environmental legislation and working practices

Fault diagnosis and rectification through root cause analysis

Safe handling of refrigerants

Electrical Systems

What you will need to come an apprentice with us

Be able to pass a DBS Check

4 GCSE’s Grade A-C Including English, Maths & at least one science subjet or scottish equivalent (Intermediate 2/Nationals 5s)

A Clean driving licence
